Brief
The objective was to redesign Lineage Journey into a comprehensive digital learning platform that inspires people to discover the rich history of Scripture and the Christian faith. The website was designed to showcase documentaries, books, study guides, podcasts, courses, tours, articles, and educational resources while providing a seamless experience for users to watch, read, listen, and deepen their understanding of biblical and church history. Every aspect of the platform was created to support the ministry’s mission while increasing engagement, resource discovery, and donations.
Challenge
The greatest challenge was organizing a rapidly expanding library of content into a platform that remained intuitive and engaging. With documentaries, podcasts, books, online courses, historical tours, blogs, devotionals, and digital resources all living within one ecosystem, the website needed to simplify navigation without sacrificing depth. It also had to serve a diverse audience—from first-time visitors and Bible students to ministry partners and long-term supporters—while creating clear pathways for learning, shopping, and giving.
Discovery
Our research showed that users engage with biblical education in many different ways. Some prefer watching documentaries, others enjoy podcasts, books, articles, or interactive study resources. This insight led to the creation of a centralized learning hub where visitors can explore content by topic and format, making it easy to discover new resources while encouraging continued engagement. Storytelling, authentic photography, educational media, and intuitive navigation became key elements in creating a platform that supports both learning and spiritual growth.
Design
The final design combines cinematic visuals, immersive storytelling, and a clean, modern interface to reflect the quality of Lineage Journey’s productions. A flexible content management system supports documentaries, books, podcasts, courses, tours, articles, and digital downloads while maintaining a consistent user experience across desktop and mobile. Clear navigation, strategic calls to action, and thoughtfully designed resource pages encourage visitors to explore, learn, support the ministry, and return regularly for new educational content.
