Brief
The objective was to design a website that reflects the heart of My Child Wake Up—a story of healing, identity, and restoration through God’s love. The site needed to introduce visitors to the book, communicate its message with clarity, and create an emotional connection that encourages readers to explore the story and begin their own journey of hope and transformation. The design also needed to support book sales while serving as a welcoming digital space for readers.

Challenge
The greatest challenge was translating a deeply personal and spiritually rich story into a digital experience that felt authentic, engaging, and approachable. The website needed to communicate themes of brokenness, healing, and redemption without feeling overwhelming or overly complex. Balancing emotional storytelling with clear navigation, compelling calls to action, and a seamless purchasing experience required careful attention to both design and user experience.

Discovery
Our research focused on understanding how readers engage with faith-based books and personal testimonies online. We discovered that visitors connect most strongly with authentic storytelling, clean layouts, and imagery that evokes hope and restoration. This insight shaped a design approach that emphasizes readability, emotional impact, and a calm visual aesthetic, allowing the book’s message to remain the primary focus while guiding users naturally toward learning more or making a purchase.

Design
The final design combines elegant typography, soft color palettes, meaningful imagery, and generous white space to create a peaceful and inviting experience. Every design element was chosen to reinforce the book’s themes of grace, healing, and renewal. The result is a modern, responsive website that tells the story visually, builds trust with new readers, and provides a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices while supporting the book’s long-term growth and outreach.
